Our History

 

History is "HIS-story"...

 

life ark prayer center ministries was founded in 1990 with the. Pastor james kiyimba and Pastor  House each pastored churches in our area- Pastor , l.a.m and Pastor  in kampala City, when the Lord spoke to them to bring the churches together to form a "regional church" to be able to touch and reach more people in our area  the Land was purchased just outside Pevely (now nearly 30 acres), between Arnold and and the congregations began meeting together jointly-first in a local catholic chapel, then in a local public school, and we were then able to move into our own newly built facility on our own land in 1985. We moved in with around 85 people and we are now a church of over 500. It has been a wonderful story of the supernatural working of God to build His church in our midst, and we know it is so we might be a blessing to others!

Who We Are

 

Every church that is truly a Christian Church, as life ark prayer center ministries is, believes certain foundational truths like the Trinity, the Divinity of Jesus Christ, and in salvation through His death and resurrection. But just as we are all human beings, yet each of having very unique traits and personalities and character, so it is with churches. We share many common beliefs, yet each church has its' own  within those beliefs, it's own applications and it's own personality. Just as people can be dysfunctional, so can churches. seeks to be empowering, liberating and healthy in all we do, and to bring to others the love, goodness, character, presence and enabling power of Christ.
